Biography
Farhan is a PhD candidate and researcher in the THINKLab. The focus of Farhan’s PhD is to study and develop a new planning approach for risk-sensitive urban development. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this approach enables urban stakeholders to shift current practice into understanding and acting on the processes that can enable a transition towards more risk-sensitive and transformative urban development across all contexts.
Prior to his PhD studies, Farhan was a researcher at the Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM), working on digital and resilience-built environments. He has experience working in digital initiative in the construction industry. He is passionate in exploring new innovation and apply it into construction practices and society.
