City Information Modelling for Baqa’a Refugee Camp, Jordan

City Information Modelling for Baqa’a Refugee Camp, Jordan – a new approach which applies digital technologies to achieve sustainable management of integrated issues in refugee camps.

PROJECT AIMS

  • Transferring and exchanging knowledge on the use of City Information Modelling (CIM), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) cross-cutting applications to achieve better and more sustainable urban management.
  • Engage with local stakeholders and residents in the Al Baqa’a Refugee Camp in Jordan for building the prototype area with a holistic approach feeding into the CIM prototype database and ensuring diversity and inclusion in the selection of the participants.
  • Embed the new knowledge developed though the prototype delivery with local and international partners.
